MAS Soliman supplies Egyptian iceberg lettuce (cabbage lettuce / lettuce capitata) cultivated in the Nobaria and Ismailia regions under strict GlobalGAP protocols. Our lettuce is harvested at optimal head firmness, hydro-cooled immediately post-harvest, and carefully packed to preserve crispness throughout the cold chain.
Variety: Iceberg (Lactuca sativa var. capitata).
Season: October – May (peak December – March).
Grade: Class 1 Export / Firm, compact heads / Light green outer leaves.
Size: 350g – 1kg per head.
Packaging: Carton or plastic box, 8–14 heads per carton.
Pallet: 80 cartons (or 90 plastic boxes).
Container: 40ft reefer — 1,600 cartons (or 1,800 boxes).
Storage: 0–1°C with 95% RH.
